Such precise cutout it is, exactly matches the trackpad dimensions.
Also, when the trackpad skin arrives, it looks like a rectangle, so don't get confused how will it apply. The cutout has been made in the middle of the rectangular skin, when you start peeling from the either side, you would see the main trackpad skin.
PS: If you don't like friction while touching the trackpad, go for the plain one

I wish they still had the white marble pattern skin for m3 pro macbook pro. But yeah, this time I tried a new one (forged carbon) because of that and it suits pretty well with the black macbook color. Excellent quality and nothing to complaint about. Perfect fit. My last skin on intel MacBook lasted for ~6 years. I hope this one does too.

Superb quality and fit but slow delivery.

Didnt expect this good quality from them, I was gonna buy it from dbrand first but its very expensive and also it ships from US so it takes a lot of shipping cost and time. Then i found capes and I thought ill give it a go because its much much cheaper and it came in like 2 days and I was not disappointed. Not once has the skin peeled off and it was so easy to apply and the design is also brilliant. It hasnt hampered my trackpad experience at all too.
