Q. What are Capes skins?
Capes skins are precisely cut self adhesive thin textured sheets for your device. You can stylize your device without adding any bulk & maintaining your device's form factor, unlike conventional cases and covers. It also protects your devices from scratches and fingerprints, while the texture provides a better grip to your phone.
Ordering & Shipping
Q. Where is my order?
Your order will be dispatched within 24 hrs of receiving it. It may take a bit longer than usual on certain scenarios. You will get regular updates & tracking details once you have placed your order via mail and text messages to let you know about the status of your order.
Kindly always also check your Junk/Spam folder as our mail might end up there depending on your mailbox setting.
Q. How do I order a skin for my device?
First select your exact device from the shop section. Then select the coverage & then the texture of your skin. You can also customize which texture you want for which part of the device. Finally, just place the order. That’s it. It’s really that easy.
Q. How long will it take for my order to ship?
Your order will be dispatched within 24 hrs of receiving it. It may take a bit longer than usual on certain scenarios. The shipping time will depend on if you choose standard or express shipping
Q. I live in a small town, can Capes deliver to me?
Yes, We ship orders all over India. Check shipping options and Cash On Delivery availability here.
Q. Can I track my order?

Q. Do you ship internationally?
We currently do not ship internationally directly through our website, but we do try our best to fulfill international requests. So just drop us a message here!

Q. How do I install my skin?
Skin installations are fairly simple. We have made detailed How To Apply Videos for most of the devices. To visit the How to apply page, click here.
Q. What if the skin has bubbles after applying?
We only use materials with air release technology, so its highly unlikely for you to get a air bubble stuck during application. This means use can easily push out air bubbles to the nearest opening. Leave pesky bubbles for those screen guards.
Q. Does Capes India offer 3M skins?
Yes we do. All our materials and textures are authentic 3M textures, with the exception of our exclusive texture "Storm", which is a culmination of authentic Oracal & 3M texture.
Q. Do Capes Skins support wireless charging.
Yes, Capes skins & wraps won't affect your phone's wireless charging capabilities and will work normally as it should.
Q. Will it leave residue on my phone when I remove it?
We only use high quality materials across our entire portfolio, which means there is no chance of skin leaving any residue behind. All materials used by us have been thoroughly tested and we can assure you that your device will be cleaner than it was before applying the skin.
Q. Can I purchase a Case or Cover from Capes India?
No, we do not sell any types of cases or covers on our website. We only manufacture the best quality Skins, Wraps & Decals.
Q. The texture I wish to buy seems to be out of stock, when will it come back in stock?
This does happen at times due to increase in demand for Capes skins. But don't worry, the out of stock texture usually is back in stock within 2 weeks unless its a pop up or limited edition texture.
Q. I can’t find a Capes skin for my device on your website, what should I do?
Chances are we are already working on it. Just drop us a message and we will let you know about the status.
Cancellations & Returns
Q. Can I change my order before it is shipped?
Yes, you can change your order before it is shipped. Just mail us your order ID, your new preference and we will take it from there.
Q. Can I change my order item after it is shipped?
Yes, you can change it under these 2 scenarios:
- It is shipped from our warehouse but not received at your end: Mail us your order ID and your new preference. You will have to bear a Rs. 149 delivery charge, also your payment method will then be restricted to Pre-paid (we will send you a secure payment link at your registered email id) and COD will not be available.
PS: Your new order will be dispatched as soon as we receive the payment.
- The shipment is received at your end: in the first 48 hours of the receipt of the shipment you may log for an exchange, the product must be in a sellable condition with the original packaging. Mail us your order ID and your new preference. You will have to send the shipment back to us at your cost & courier company. Further you will have to bear an additional Rs.149 for the fresh shipment (we will send you a secure payment link at your registered email id).
PS: We will only dispatch your new order once we have received the original order at our warehouse and the extra delivery cost for the new shipment.
Q. Can I return the product once received and get a refund for the same?
No, we do not provide a refund for any orders once it is shipped from our warehouse. However, you can exchange it within 48 hours of the receipt of the shipment at your end with anything else available on our website, just follow the steps mentioned above.
Q. What if the product has a defect?
If you identify a defect in the skin before the application, just mail us some images of the skins you received within 48 hours of receiving the shipment. After examining the same, we will exchange your product at our cost. If you identify the defect after the application, mail some photos and we will advise further action after examining the defect.
Q. Can I cancel my order after placing it online?
Yes, you can cancel it directly from our website until it is shipped from our warehouse, which happens usually 4-24 hours [does not include weekends & holidays] after you place your order. You cannot cancel it once it is shipped.
Q. How soon can I expect a refund if my order is successfully cancelled and I have paid online?
We will process the Refund at our end within 2 working days, it will further take anywhere in between 0-7 working days for the money to show up in your account depending on the payment method used. Sometimes, the amount does reflect directly in your account instead of a notification confirmation to you. So do check directly in your account within those days.
